Ekkozone is a percussion-based ensemble whose concerts feature a wide range of contemporary styles and composers. Formed by percussionist and conductor Mathias Reumert in 2013, the ensemble quickly became a force on the Danish music scene with frequent performances at Copenhagen Jazzhouse and other major venues. Ekkozone has performed throughout Scandinavia, including at Northern Europe’s largest music event: Roskilde Festival. The newest album, Steve Reich: Sextets, received the Diapason d’Or 2018 award and is available on CD and LP.

Ekkozone er et slagtøjsbaseret ensemble, hvis koncerter byder på et mangefacetteret spektrum af ny musik og komponister. Ensemblet blev dannet i 2013 af percussionist og dirigent Mathias Reumert og etablerede sig hurtigt på musikscenen med talrige koncerter på Jazzhouse og store produktioner på Roskilde Festival samt i landets større koncertsale. Den nyeste udgivelse, Steve Reich: Sextets fra 2018, modtog Diapason d’Or-prisen og fås på CD og vinyl.
